This hard-working, courteous team allows you, your family, and your guests the opportunity to enjoy the special day without stress. We will help you with set-up, and take care of the teardown and clean up. Our team will also be there for any issues that may arise throughout your special day.

EVENT SITE OPTIONS
Orchard, creek-side, forest, and meadow, or a rustic barn; consider our land in Idaho’s scenic Clearwater River Canyon your canvas. Big Canyon Acres has 48 manicured acres of amazing scenery in a variety of settings to let you create the event of your dreams!
1. THE TIMBER FRAME BARN
The newest structure at Big Canyon Acres, but full of homestead charm. The Timber Frame Barn is designed for our agricultural use. The frame was handcrafted using old-world techniques from locally milled rough-cut spruce logs. It houses our processing room, storage facility, farm offices, and a worker bunkhouse. The lower front 40×50 area is available for events outside of harvest and processing season.

2. RUSTIC BARN
Built around the time of the original homestead, the old barn was home to hay and farm animals in the early years. Today its weathered wood brings that rustic or western feel to your event. Surrounded by forest and the sweet smell of summer blackberries, the rustic barn brings the timeless enchantment of a simpler time.

3. CREEKSIDE MEADOW
Stands of pines and birch trees raise to the sky, views of the prairie high above, and sounds of whispering grasses. The meadow site and its adjacent festival grounds are the largest area ready to accommodate 300+ guests. You can spread out and set up ceremony and reception side by side and flow between the two as you make your own history.

4. CREEKSIDE TERRACE
Nestled in a stand of birch and willows along the bank of Big Canyon Creek, Creekside is the most natural of settings on-site. No permanent structures are allowed here so you and your guests will have the feeling of being deep in nature apart from the world. Your event will reflect your love of the outdoors.

5. WALNUT GROVE
Perfect for intimate gatherings or micro weddings, walnut hollow is a natural hollow in the rolling hillside just before the steep climb among the pines above. A mossy stone wall, graceful arching tall English walnuts, just above the main orchard brings simple elegance to our outdoor charm.

6. THE ORCHARD
Acres of apple, cherry, pear, plum, walnut, and hazelnut trees spread their graceful arch of branches over the carpet of soft green. Fall brings new colors and leaves dance to the ground. Imagine your gathering set with long farmhouse tables and twinkle lights overhead.

Big Canyon Acres hosts the Fall Harvest Festival in October!
Rent the Big Canyon Acres manicured grounds for festivals, outdoor events, and large group gatherings. Contact us for more information. Overnight camping available with rental packages for an additional fee and special terms – self-contained only- no services available.
